Study.  Serve.  Share.

Study the Bible, theology, practical ministry, and leadership in a simple and interactive online environment. Learn from academically qualified and practically experienced church leaders so that you can better understand the Scriptures and better pursue that call God has placed on your life.

Serve in your local church while taking the online courses, so that you have a chance to gain practical experience to complement your ministry education. DLI includes and “internship” that allows students to learn from seasoned ministry mentors while serving in a local ministry setting.

Share the gift of ministry training with those who need it the most. For every student that enrolls in DLI, we will train an indigenous leader in a foreign nation with limited access to education or a church planter in the U.S. at no cost to them. Your tuition dollars allow us to provide these scholarships. So, you are not only investing in your future but in the futures of leaders across the world.

Destiny Leadership Institute is committed to providing access to top quality ministry and leadership training at affordable tuition rates. Our tuition price is a fraction of the cost at similar institutions. This is made possible as a result of our management strategy and the generosity of our covenant partners who subsidize the cost of operation to help keep tuition rates low.Our current tuition rate is $1500 per year, paid in six consecutive installments. A 10% discount is applied when paid in full upfront.

Our online program is designed to fit well into even the most demanding lifestyle and schedule. It is built to be flexible, while at the same time, structured enough to keep students on track. In this way students can balance their study schedules with other responsibilities as they integrate systematic learning into their daily lives. DLI is designed so that our students gain practical training in the field of ministry service and leadership, in their local church,  in conjunction with their academic studies.

DLI courses are not merely self-guided, correspondence classes. Well-respected and knowledgeable instructors, who are experts in their fields, guide students through the course materials. Students regularly collaborate and communicate with students and instructors while they serve, and apply what they are learning to their local church or ministry settings. All units incorporate a variety of interactive elements, such as discussion boards, live webinars, and video lectures.

“My time as a student at DLI has been an essential piece in my pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. I am so thankful for the development that I have experienced since joining DLI. The resources that have been placed in my hands, have been paramount in helping me to develop as a disciple, leader, and pastor. I am able to take the knowledge that I gain through DLI and apply it that very same day in so many aspects of my life. Destiny Leadership Institute is incredible, and I would advise anyone, at any stage in life to pursue the opportunity to join DLI.”
Dustin Watts, Calvary Church | Fort Worth, TX
“I had been serving at my local church for about four years and over time I developed a strong passion for learning the word of God. I really felt that God was leading me to take another step in developing as a leader, so I inquired about DLI. I was hesitant in the beginning because it had been a while since I was in school, but after praying and seeking God I decided to start. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only has DLI been essential in my growth as a leader, it has also helped me become more deeply rooted in my faith in Christ.”
Shivon Woodard, Christ Church | West Monroe, LA
“My DLI experience was great! I have a family, a job and feel called to the ministry. Going away to Bible College just was not an option. Through DLI I earned a Ministry Diploma while I served at my local church. I loved the way DLI uses the latest technology to make learning flexible and convenient.”
Roger Powers, The Gathering Place | Searcy, AR

What Will I Gain From DLI?

A practical understanding of the Bible

Upon completion of the program students should possess a practical understanding of the Bible including its major themes surrounding creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. Central to this understanding is a grasp of the gospel of Christ. Students will be given the tools to construct a framework for lifelong learning of biblical themes and truth, and are encouraged to continue the development of a scholarly approach to biblical truth along with an open heart to receive and apply biblical truth in their lives, while sharing that truth with others.

A practical understanding of theology

Upon completion of the program students will understand the parameters of sound Christian theology and its implications in ministry and the church. Christian doctrines such as God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, humanity, sin, salvation, and the Church will be examined in light of their biblical and historical formations, with emphasis on understanding and application in every area of life and practice.

A Christian worldview

Upon completion of the program of study students will have enhanced their grasp of what it  means to view the world and all of its related activities from a Christian perspective. Students will be equipped with the tools to apply biblical and gospel truth in every arena of thought, word, and action, carefully avoiding the common malpractice of secular/sacred divide, but rather recognizing that God’s truth has implications of all of life and governs our interactions with others and society as a whole.

Spiritual maturity

Upon completion of the program students are expected to have developed spiritual disciplines. Which serve as a means of God’s grace at work within them bringing them to a greater spiritual maturity in Christ. Students will have opportunities to practice and develop these disciplines within the context of their studies.

Servant leadership

Upon completion of the program students will have an understanding of the leadership example of Jesus, and will have applied the principles of servant leadership in multiple ministry settings. Students will be expected to model these principles in the context of their local church and demonstrate them throughout their studies in relation to their local context and towards fellow students as well as towards faculty and staff of DLI. It is expected that the understanding and application of these principles will enhance the students’ experience in learning and also lend itself to the goals of spiritual development and maturity.
