DR. PHILLIP BRASSFIELD | Founder & Leadership Chair

God called Dr. Brassfield at a young age to develop Leaders.  He has served in almost every position imaginable in the local church including Senior Pastor, and in a variety of executive positions with three different non-traditional Christian Colleges whose primary focus was equipping leaders in partnership with the local church.  In 1997 Destiny Ministries was birthed and today has grown into a globally recognized apostolic ministry committed to developing Christian Leaders. Dr. Brassfield has achieved the following credentials:  Bachelor of Christian Leadership, Ecclesia College; Master of Divinity, Logos Graduate School; Doctor of Ministry in Christian Leadership, Laurel University.

LANDON GALLOWAY | Director & Biblical Studies Chair

Landon  has been the director of DLI since 2011. He is responsible for devising DLI’s unique, online platform that allows students to obtain formal educational training while gaining practical experience in their own local church.  His academic accomplishments and practical experience has prepared him to lead DLI with purpose and vision. Landon has a Bachelor of Arts from Mississippi State University, as well as Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature from Oral Roberts University.  While at ORU, he specialized in the Greek New Testament, particularly the Gospel of Luke.   Landon is currently working on Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

SCOT LOYD | DLI Instructor

Scot Loyd serves as Assistant Professor of Communication Arts and Debate at Oklahoma Baptist University. Scot has also served as lead pastor at Jonesboro Worship Center,  as an adjunct professor of Communication Studies at Arkansas State University, and as an instructor of communication arts at Louisiana College, in Pineville, LA. Scot earned his M.A. in Communication Studies, with specific studies in media and health communication, and his B.A. in Speech Communication and Theater from Arkansas State University.  Scot has also earned a specialist in community college education degree at ASU. Scot is currently pursuing his Ph.D in Heritage Studies at Arkansas State University.

Dr. Rob Griffin | DLI Instructor

Rob Griffin has been in full-time ministry since 1986. During this time he has served as a youth leader, evangelist, associate pastor, and lead pastor. Rob is an ordained minister with Destiny Ministries. He is the founding pastor of Triumph Worship Center in Glenpool, Oklahoma. He is also the founder and president of Griffin Ministry Group, a non-profit ministry aimed at equipping local churches and ministries. Rob is an alumnus of Oral Roberts University where he earned a Master of Divinity and graduated with High Honors and recently received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from ORU.

Pastor Jonathan Buckland | DLI Instructor

Pastor Jonathan has been involved in many different aspects of ministry from a very young age. He spent a majority of his childhood with his parents doing missions work internationally. Upon returning to the United States he has served as the youth pastor at a church in Newport News, VA as well as the lead pastor at a church in Marietta, OH before relocating to Northeast Ohio to plant The Bridge Church where he now pastors.   He has a love for adventure and has the hobbies of running, cycling, travel and reading. His academic achievements include an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies; Indiana Bible College, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management & Leadership; Concordia University, Summa Cum Laude, and a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership; Southeastern University.

Pastor Paul Cook | DLI Instructor

Paul Cook has been a pastor for over 35 years. Paul is a Bible practitioner, teacher, leadership developer, mentor, organizational coach, entrepreneur, clinician, and artist serving Life Central Church in Plano, Texas since 2011. Paul also has a passion for the success of Destiny Leadership Institute.
